Southbridge Care Homes owns and operates 26 Long-Term Care Homes and 8 Retirement Homes throughout many urban and rural areas of Ontario. Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a Regional Clinical Consultants to deliver support and clinical expertise to our portfolio of LTC and Retirement homes. Reporting to the Vice President of Operational Excellence, the Regional Clinical Consultant will have the opportunity to visit each Southbridge Care Home and provide consultative support on a routine basis. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and passion for senior care by delivering high-quality leadership support to our homes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and passion for senior care by delivering high-quality leadership support to our homes.
Responsibilities:
- Providing guidance and leadership consultation on quality improvement and risk mitigation to homes in the form of quality indicators and CMI improvement, risk identification and mitigation, auditing, clinical evaluations, and project management.
- Assist Executive Directors with recruitment, selection of new Directors of Care and other clinical leadership positions at the home level
- Ability to mentor teams through education and coaching.
- IPAC background (preferred)
- Ability and flexibility to travel across Ontario as assigned with a reliable vehicle.
- Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- Current RN certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum 3 years experience in LTC in leadership roles(required).
- Familiarity with the FLTCA, 2021 and the RHRA regulations.
- Ability to deal with crisis situations promptly and effectively.
- Advanced clinical expertise and LTC experience to guide, direct, educate and mentor teams.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Current vulnerable sector police check. (Within 6 months)
